Medical Assistant

Medical Assistant is a diploma course offered by J&K Paramedical & Nursing Council. The duration of the course is 02 years.

Eligibility

  • 1. Age limit for admission: A candidate for admission into MA should have completed 17 years and should not be more than 35 years on 31st December of year of admission.
  • 2. Sex: Male/Female
  • 3. Educational Qualifications Should have passed 10th & 12th examination with any stream conducted by the Jammu & Kashmir Board of School Education or any Examination recognized as equivalent thereto
  • 4. Should have secured not less than 45% marks in the intermediate examination or equivalent examination. In case of SC & ST candidates, it shall be not less than 40% of Marks.
  • 5. The candidate should possess good health, mental and moral character.

Documents to be submitted

  • 1. 10th & 12th original certificates with 2 set of photostate copies
  • 2. State Domicile/Nationality Certificate
  • 3. Caste Certificate should be submitted if SC/ST.
  • 4. Twelve passport size photographs.
  • 5. Transfer Certificate & Migration Certificate (for candidates who have completed their qualifying examination from outside J&K State Board).
  • 6.Conduct Certificate
  • 7.Health fitness certificate

• Security will be refunded under the following conditions:


  •      a) Payable without interest after completion of course.
  •      b) Subject to clearance of dues from (Labs, Library, Hostel & Transport).
  •      c) In case of cancellation or withdrawal due to any reason security amount will be forfeited.

• Exam, Eligibility, Registration, Sports, NSS, SNA, Digital and Promotion Fee will be charged as per university norms.

• Any other fee which is applicable/levied but not covered above shall also be charged.

• Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

• Please do not forget to obtain cash receipt after payment of fee.

• Fee paid without receipt will not be entertained later on.
